Label totes, ingredient bags, racks, and other items to keep your food processing plant organized. These tags are laminated with aluminum, so they’ll set off metal detectors if they fall into your line. They help you comply with Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point (HACCP) programs to make sure contaminated food doesn’t leave your plant. They’re also FDA compliant for direct contact with food. You can leave them attached to batches of food as they cook, unless the oven temperature exceeds 400° F. To help you follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), they come in several colors—use one color for each line or area of your plant to reduce the chance of cross contamination. Each tag has a top layer of cardstock that you can write on with a food-grade permanent marker or pen. The cardstock is durable; it resists water and chemicals. On the back, these tags have a glossy film that makes them hard to tear.
